Ms. Hanan, born in Durango, Colorado, has lived on the Western Front of the Rocky Mountains most of her life. In 2003, she moved to Paradise Valley, Montana to fulfill her dream of riding her horse year round from her home. She has worked primarily in the states of California, Oregon, Washington and Montana.
Sabrina holds a B.A. in psychology, with an emphasis on cognitive behavioral modification, from Reed College in Portland, Oregon. She holds a M.A. in Applied Behavioral Science from Leadership Institute of Seattle in Bellevue, Washington. She is an expert in social and emotional intelligence with a focus on Anti-Social Personality Disorder which includes psychopathy and sociopathy.
LAW ENFORCEMENT: Between 1978 and 2000, she contracted to federal law enforcement, including FBI, ATF, IRS and DEA, as a behavioral analyst. The team to which she was assigned primarily focused on locating and apprehending sexual sadists and other persons with Anti-Social Personality Disorder characteristics. The team also assisted in recovering kidnap and ransom victims and victims of torture. She has received training in close quarters combat skills including close quarters kill, interrogation and interviewing procedures, crisis intervention and disaster preparedness and response, firearms and weapons training, building and site security and survival and back country preparedness. She has completed the Mental Health Crisis Intervention Team Training delivered by Gallatin County Sheriff's Department and sponsored by the National Alliance on Mental Illness. She is certified as a Crisis Intervention Team member. She is also a graduate of Bozeman, Montana Police Department's Citizen Police Academy.
ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT: Sabrina began professional coaching and organizational development consulting in 1993, and has worked with individuals and teams from large organizations such as Microsoft, Boeing and Intel as well as small companies such as Bell Ford, Ruger Investment Casting, Cable One and sovereign nations such as the Yavapai-Apache Nation. Her work focused on leadership development, change management, organizational culture and developing and applying the skills of emotional and social intelligence in the workplace.
Sabrina supports this field work with experience as a graduate instructor in professional and organizational development for the University of Phoenix, United States Chamber Foundation and American Management Association and has guest lectured for the College of Business at Montana State University.
